What a joy it was to write this study for our women in January 2024. We paused our community groups for a month, inviting all the women of our church to join us on Tuesday evenings to delve into the book of Colossians. Over four weeks, two dear friends led us through each chapter, with the provided curriculum enabling women to prepare beforehand.
Loosely based on the HEAR method (Highlight, Examine, Apply, Respond), these questions aimed to empower personal study. Personally, preparing for this study felt different—perhaps due to my season of life or simply heightened attentiveness. Imagining Paul’s heartfelt words to new believers from his jail cell was profoundly inspiring.
Despite its brevity at four chapters, Colossians is dense with foundational truths applicable in any season of life. My prayer is that this study sparks a renewed love for God, His Church, and His mission in your walk with Christ.
